Sangría
Shadow-dark blackbird,
heading south with the sun, stirs
raindrops from the trees.
Children, backpacks full,
board the early morning bus
swimsuits under clothes.
Golden patch of light
through the leaves warms my leg
white gnats in the shadow.
Crabapple crushed, red
and wrinkled on the sidewalk;
peaches, fat on the tree.
A shower of stars
Perseid, blue and black;
cool grass under foot
Lightning-pink horizon;
the heavy sun setsflashing
Zero, one, two, thunder
Bees in the bluebell;
Columbine bloom in the shade
Cold wind sweeping on. |

My name is Hakidasu- I am a connoisseur of avoidance and a murderer of pastries.
Ooh, doodling, yay!
